What is the process?

1. Application to the IER of your institute or university

2. Tech Grant coordination meeting to review applications

3. Invitation to pitch to the Selection Committee

4. Release of funds

FIT awards the grant to the IER which will be used to pay the salaries of the founders

For FIT Tech Grants, projects must go through the support mechanisms of FIT-accredited universities and higher education institutions. Please visit the following websites:

For an Innogrant (EPFL)
For an InnoTREK (UNIL-CHUV)
For a start-up grant (HEIG-VD)

Key dates

Important: in order for your application to be presented to the Selection Committee, you must have submitted your complete application before the application deadline.
