Founded in 1994, FIT supports the creation and development of new businesses in the canton of Vaud and in Western Switzerland.

FIT provides support through several programmes:

FIT Tech, for high-tech start-ups,
FIT Digital, for digital start-ups with an innovative business model and strong growth potential,
FIT Impact, for high-impact low-tech projects.

In 2025, FIT supported 61 projects for a total amount of 5.475 million Swiss francs.

Dexterous Endoscopes and Precisia Care receive support from the FIT

The Foundation for Innovation and Technology (FIT) has announced its support for two new start-ups from Vaud. Dexterous Endoscopes has been awarded a Tech Seed loan of CHF 100’000 for its endoscope, which is capable of switching from a flexible to a rigid state during the same procedure. Precisia Care is also receiving a Tech Seed loan of CHF 100’000 for its hospital data analytics platform designed to anticipate patients’ needs and the workload of healthcare staff.

The FIT awards five new Tech Grants to projects at the CHUV and EPFL

The Foundation for Innovation and Technology (FIT) has announced the award of new Tech Grants, worth CHF 100’000 each, to five projects in the Canton of Vaud: three grants have been awarded to Chorus Tre, HeteroSight and Sixtine AI, all originating from the CHUV, and two grants have been awarded to Cookd Labs and Endobotica, projects originating from EPFL.
